This weekend was full of cannolis (Sicilian for “little tube”). My friend’s parents went on vacation, and so their friend from New York came down to watch their kids. She is an all-around good cook, and she helped my friend and I make cannolis. I have been wanting to try for a long time now, and when I finally got the chance I couldn’t pass it up. So, on Saturday, we made our Sicilian Deserts, and then filled them with Ricotta cheese and chocolate chips and enjoyed them.
